What's happening on Easter weekend?

Now that the snow has gone, our thoughts turn to the Easter period and the traditional start of the new tennis season so here are the details of what will be going on at the club over that weekend.

The traditional Good Friday working party (work on various jobs in and around the clubhouse) will take place on Friday 30 March from 10.30am with a free drink or two being provided to the volunteers who help to get the club ready for the new season. Fish and chips etc will be obtained for those who want it. This is usually a sociable start to the tennis season, and is a good opportunity to contribute something to your club, so please come along if you can.

The tennis on Easter Sunday will be a tournament run by Darren of R&D Coaching on Sunday 1 April starting at 2pm and finishing at 4pm. The cost is £5 per head and the entrance fee covers Darren's time in running the event. The event needs a minimum of 12 people and a maximum of 20 people to run so it will be 'first come first served'. Please text Darren to reserve your place. If you say you are coming and then cancel within 24 hours of the event then the £5 fee will still be payable.
