MARK COPPLESTONEChairmanI've been a member virtually all my life - my parents' involvement dates back to the late 1950s! You'll usually find me at the bar on Wednesday nights. Before becoming Chairman (2018), I was Secretary for 26 years. My proudest achievement: obtaining sizeable funding from the National Lottery and the Foundation for Sport & the Arts (1998), helping to secure our site's freehold.

ANTHONY OSBORNEHonorary TreasurerI've been a member of HWLTC for over 40 years, and have been Treasurer for over 15 years, including the role of Membership Secretary. I used to be a strong club player and was Men's Captain for 24 years, but after 50+ years of playing tennis, I now constrain myself to playing the occasional social game, and a bit of bowls and bridge.

STUART MCTIERNANTournament SecretaryInspired by my son, a junior here since the age of 5, I joined the Club a couple of years ago. Joining was the best decision I've made; tennis and the Club are now such an important part of our family life. I now get involved a lot in running family social on Sundays and fun tournaments.
|
MIKE ORDISHClub SecretaryI've been a member of the Club for about 25 years and plays tennis every week. I'm a general member of the committee and get involved in various activities such as sand-brushing the courts, helping with open days and marketing, and other activities to help recruit new members.
