Tom & Steph take the Mixed Drawn title

​Our Mixed Drawn tournament took place on Sunday 15 October. Six pairs were drawn and it was all to play for on the day. In the end, it was the experienced partnership of Tom Lockie and Steph Cochrane that took the title, beating Boris and Rosita 6–3 in the final .

Three teams had reached 21 games at the end of the group so it came down to how many wins each pair had claimed, where Tom and Steph had won all five, Boris and Rosita had won four, and Tom Daley and Margaret had won three - so a close tournament, all in all!

Thanks to Steve Dolden for running the majority of our tournaments this year, and well done to everyone who has taken part throughout 2017. There's one more result to get (the Autumn Mixed) before trophies are presented at our Dinner Dance on Saturday 3 February.
