Join us on Finals Day this Sunday

The pressure's building and the nerves are jangling as we head towards Finals Day. Our finalists have played their matches and are in training for the big day! Come down to the Club on Sunday 7 July to see who are crowned 2019 champions. (And enjoy some grub, have a drink, and hopefully soak up some sunshine while you're at it.) 

Tournament matches will take place from 11.00am; the order of play is as follows:

• Ladies' Singles
• Men’s Singles and Veterans' Doubles
• Ladies' Doubles and Men's Doubles
• Mixed Doubles

Just like Wimbledon, the bar will be open for refreshments throughout the day (including all the usual stuff, plus our famous Pimm's). A Ploughman's lunch will be served at around 1.30pm and an afternoon tea will be available for devouring at around 4.30pm. It's a fun and chilled out day for members and their guests (families and friends usually come and cheer the finalists on); a celebration of our finalists and our friendly community.

​Please note that there will be no social tennis and all other courts will be closed throughout the day, out of courtesy for our finalists.
